 Vote for April Mustang Reader of the Month

Mustang Readers' use their passion for reading and positive peer influence:

• As committee members, they read books and  promote reading through media presentations.
• Members are involved in a Melba school wide read week.
• Members take field trips to Barnes and Noble to select books for the school library collection from the newest titles available, and also participate in an online book order event.
• Mustang Readers promote books through Mustang Readers and help organize Dr. Seuss events for elementary students.

"This program creates a buzz in our school about books and gets kids excited to read in a way that classroom instruction cannot," stated one of Melba High School's most respected English teachers, Erin Gatfield.
